Jewellery Design

Jewellery design is the process of creating, crafting, fabricating, and designing jewellery. Crafting a piece of jewellery has been practiced long time ago by a blacksmith or metalworker, but now it has evolve into a billion dollar industry using machine to help complete the process.

Crafting a jewellery involves sufficient knowledge of architecture, market trend, detailed information  about materials, and composition.
In the past, the sketching, draft and planning about the design was done manually meaning hand drawn. Today many people use digital media for their sketches although some are still using pencil and paper to draw and plan about the design of the jewellery.
